CLARINET FUSION, the Bay Area’s premiere Clarinet Choir, brings their resonating sound to an upcoming concert titled ‘This is Halloween’ at 7PM on Friday, October 23 at the Martinez Community Senior Center. Join us for a ghoulish mix of tunes that includes: popular, fun!, classical, and some rock & roll!
Clarinet Fusion, a recipient of the Contra Costa County Arts Recognition Award, is based in Pleasant Hill and is in its 18th year entertaining audiences around the Bay Area and beyond. With its wonderful blend of 9 musicians playing 5 different kinds of clarinets – from the smallest high-pitched Eb clarinet at 19 inches to the largest Contrabass clarinet at 9 feet, Fusion brings its varied musical programing for the enjoyment of all. Come learn about clarinets, hear some great music, and the emcee will share some fun facts about the songs along the way. The musicians will be available to talk with you and answer questions after the concert.
The concert is open to the public – all ages welcome! Doors open at 6:30pm.
Tickets are $5 per person and available at the door.

Clarinet Fusion performs as a guest ensemble at Clarinet Day at Diablo Valley College in an engaging event for clarinet enthusiasts. The event features performances and masterclasses aimed at clarinet players of all skill levels. Hosted by Diane Maltester, professional clarinetist and member of Clarinet Fusion, the event allows the opportunity for participants to learn from experienced musicians.

Clarinet Fusion performs at the ‘Dia de los Muertos Lunch’ for the members of the Pleasant Hill Senior Center and their guests. Audience members will enjoy a build-your-own-taco bar, with beans, rice, and all the fixings. Plus dessert! Optional: Bring a photo of a loved one or pet to honor at an altar (it will go home with you after the event). Music by Clarinet Fusion from 1:30-2pm. A fun-filled event at which you will see and hear 5 different kinds of clarinets played by 10 musicians!

Clarinet Fusion performs their annual Holiday Concert for the community of Pleasant Hill and beyond at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center. Audience members of all ages will enjoy the mix of holiday and other toe-tapping favorites. There will be an instrument table full of clarinets and the musicians will be standing by to talk with you after the event. Bring the entire family to this fun-filled event at which you will see and hear 5 different kinds of clarinets played by 9 musicians!
