Remembrance Event for Korean War POW Accounted For After 73 Years
Our founder, Karyn Weber, and her family invite the public to a Remembrance Event to honor the life of Capt. Erik F. Yde on Sunday, April 28 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Lafayette Veterans Memorial Center, 3780 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette, CA. Hosted by VFW Post #8063, the event will include full military honors, a three-volley rifle salute, U.S. military and family speakers, Korea Consulate representatives, presentation of medals, and patriotic music by Clarinet Fusion. Please join the family as they honor and celebrate the return home of Capt. Erik F. Yde after 73 years. Doors open and prelude music at 12:30 p.m.

CLARINET FUSION returns to the Martinez Sr. Center to perform for the community – all ages welcome! On tap is an exciting program titled Spring Fever, to include: Star Wars, Irish Tune from County Derry, Dance of the Russian Sailors, The Lone Ar-ranger!, Fantasia on the Dargason, American Patrol, Happy Together and much more! Come see and hear the blend of 10 musicians performing on 5 different kinds of clarinets – from the smallest at 19 inches to the largest at 9 feet!
Did we mention that Clarinet Fusion was selected to perform at the International Clarinet Association’s annual ClarinetFest convention in Dublin, Ireland this summer? Auditions were submitted from 42 different countries – and Clarinet Fusion was selected! We are so excited!!!
Open to the public – all ages welcome! Doors open at 6:30pm. Adults/Seniors/Students $5. Tickets are available online (see QR code), in person at the Martinez Senior Community Center, at the door, or call: 925-370-8770 for more information.

Clarinet Fusion performs their annual Summer Concert for the community of Pleasant Hill and beyond at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center. Audience members of all ages will enjoy the exciting mix of music. There will be an instrument table full of clarinets and the musicians will be standing by to talk with you after the event. Bring the entire family to this fun-filled event at which you will see and hear 5 different kinds of clarinets played by 10 musicians!
Special for this concert, Clarinet Fusion will be performing their 25-minute set of music that won them the audition to perform at the International Clarinet Association’s annual convention – ClarinetFest 2024 – in Dublin, Ireland July 31 thru August 4. Come see and hear the group – and wish them well as they get ready to depart for Ireland!

Clarinet Fusion performs a summer concert for the residents of Rossmoor and their guests. If you love the sound of the Eb clarinet, Bb clarinet, alto clarinet, bass clarinet, and contrabass clarinet and want to hear these instruments being played up close and personal – you will not want to miss this event! Audience members will enjoy the mix of classical, pop, Latin, marches, and more!

Having performed at Rossmoor since 2011, Clarinet Fusion hopes that you and your guests can join us for an eclectic toe-tapping mix of clarinet choir music performed by ten Bay Area musicians on five different kinds of clarinets ranging from 19-inches to 9-feet. We will have various types of clarinets on display for your viewing pleasure and members of Clarinet Fusion will be available after the concert to talk with you and answer any questions you may have about the clarinet. A fun evening will be had by all!
